This project is designed to supplement and enhance secondary science education in schools in greater
umbo area! particularly those "ithout science laboratories! by o##ering hands on e$perience! guest
spea%ers "ith occupations in the sciences or science&dependent #ields! and #ield trips to science related
job sites'
Science education in many schools is largely theoretical and abstract! as most students lac% te$t boo%s!
and their schools do not have laboratories' (e hope to inspire interest in the sciences by sho"ing
students the %inds o# careers they can pursue "ith science bac%ground! as "ell as enhancing the
activities they may already engage in such as #arming and care o# their immediate environment'
