To enable the console, please follow this procedure.

1. Edit the rev.ini found in your dota 2 folder.



2. find the string "ProcName=dota.exe -steam -novid -silent /help".

3. Add "-console" to that line, so it will look like this
"ProcName=dota.exe -steam -novid -console -silent /help"

4. Done. make sure you save the file as ".ini"

here's a quick tutorial to create a LAN server.

1 - make a copy of your dota 2 game directory and rename it to "dota 2 server".

2- place all the server files to the "dota 2 server" folder and run the server launcher.

3 - configure your server settings. after that don't close the server window.

4 - To add bots to your game. type "populate bots or dota_bot_populate" in server window.

5 - Run the game using the "dota_2.exe" located in your dota 2 folder not the one in the dota 2 server
folder.

6 - To connect to your server type in the game console your server IP address.

7 - When your in the "Waiting for players" state. open the console and type "jointeam" good or bad. it
will look like this
(jointeam good) (jointeam bad).

8 - Play!
