Relaxation/Prog ramm i ng Tech n iq ue

Mental Photographyt
It is very important to do Relaxation Sessions twice a day. Do one prior to breakfast and
one within an hour before going to sleep. This technique involves two steps:
*
Relaxing your body and mind
n
Reprogramming your brain
Follow the procedures below to complete your relaxation/programming session.
1,. Allow 15 minutes for your relaxation session.
2. Sit in a comfortable position. Uncross arms and legs, and loosen clothing. Relax your
lower jaw. Don't allow phones, people or pets to disturb you.
3. Gently close your eyes. Take two deep breaths (slowly inhale through your noskils for four
counts, hold for four counts, and exhale through your mouth for four counts).
4. Set your inner clock for L5 minutes. Tell yourself you will be back to a conscious level in 15
minutes.
5. Breathe smoothly and evenly. Tune in to your breathing. Concentrate on your breathing,
and become very aware of your breathing. Notice how it slows down and levels out as you
relax. Then you know you are in the state of Alpha. Now begin counting backwards, from
50 to L, saying the number as you exhale. Be sure to get to 1.
6. When you reach 1, give yourself the following suggestions to ENHANCE YOUR MENTAL
PHOTOGRAPHING@:
a. My subconscious sees every word very clearly.
b. My fingers turn pages smoothly and evenly.
c. I recall everything I need from the book or material when I need it.
d.My concentration is enhanced by distractions, and locks in on the material I am
photographing.
7. After completing your suggestions or Programming, start counting forward from 1 to 5.
Upon reaching 5, you will open your eyes, feeling completely alert, refreshed and relaxed.
Remain sitting for 1'-2 minutes, staring into space. Slowly become phy-sically active,.again
by moving hands and feet and stretching. Then get up and quietly go about'yo.ul'activities.

Mechanics of Mental Photography@
1. Please sit at a table or desk. Sit, so that your book is at a comfortable height in front of you.
2. Turn the book upside down, with the front cover face down on the table.
3. Open the book to the place you want to start. In this case, open the back cover.
4. Hold the book with the right-hand side of the book flat on the table.
5. Hold the left-hand side of the book upright, with your left hand perpendicular to the table.
6. Tilt your head so that your eyes can see into the crease of the book.
7. Look at the index finger on your right hand. There is a crease at the underside, at the first
joint, from the tip of that finger. That crease is usually the best and easiest place where the
edge of the page fits as you lilt the page for turning.
8. Place your right hand on the right side page of the book. This is your starting position.
g.
Turn the pages with your hand going in a clock-wise circular motion with the crease of
your index finger.
10. Perform one turn of a page per second. This will expose 2 pages of information each
second.
11. As you furn pages at a rate of once per second, you will be saying a cadence to yourself at
one count per second. The cadence is as follows:
ONE
-
TWO, ONE
-
TWO
oNE
-
RELNq ONE
-
RECALL
ONE
-
TRIGGER, NICE AND SMOOTH,
KEEP UP THE PACE, LOCK IN NOW
Use this cadence whenever you are Mentally Photographing@.
