Guidelines to Term Project

Strategic Management
Requirement
Each group is required to develop &
submit a case study on a business
organization operating in Pakistan.
Step 1
Form your group
Group size must not exceed 6 persons
Select a business organization: the term
covers all private and public sector
concerns, private educational institutes
and hospitals.
Get approval from the course instructor;
approvals to be given on a first-come
basis
Step 2
Search extensive secondary data about
the organization chosen
Find out its vision and mission statements
Trace its evolution, development, products
and current market position
If its an international concern, a global
perspective may also be taken, but
ultimate focus should be on its Pakistan
operations
Step 3
Based on the information searched earlier,
identify a potential or actual problem the
company is facing/may face in the near
future with respect to any of its core
processes
Unstructured interviews from the
companys personnel, customers and/or
distributors will be of immense help
Step 4
Prepare a report
Submit a printed copy as well as a CD
Date of submission is the 14
