Thevenin'Stheorems: S. No. Name of The Component Specifications Range Quantity

This document describes an experiment to verify Thevenin's theorem for a given circuit. The experiment uses resistors, an ammeter, voltmeter, multimeter, regulated power supply, breadboard, and connecting wires. The procedure measures the current through and voltage across the load with and without the load connected. It then finds the Thevenin equivalent voltage and resistance and confirms the load current matches the theoretical value using the equivalent circuit. Precautions are listed to ensure accurate readings. Theoretical calculations are also described to analyze the load current for the original and equivalent circuits at different input voltages to verify Thevenin's theorem.

Procedure:
1. Connect the load at the output of the network and measure the current through the
load
2. Apply a DC voltage from voltage source to be input terminals of the network and
measure the output voltage Vth(Voc) without load.

3. Disconnect the voltage source and load, short the input terminals of the network and
measure the Thevenins equivalent resistance (Rth) at output terminals.
4. Now Connect the Thevinis equivalent circuit
5. Adjust the input voltage of the voltage source that is equal to Thevenins voltage and
apply to the input terminals of the equivalent circuit with load.
6. Measure the load current I
