Equipment
Needed:
1 Bosu ball, 3 floor mats, 8 footprint poly spots, 12 circle poly spots, 2 large beach ball, 1 standard sized soccer
ball, 2 (5) soft playground ball, 2 (5) rubber playground ball, 1 basketball, 1 12lbs. medicine ball, 15 small
traffic cones, 3 balance boards: level 1, 2 and 3, 6 uneven steps: 3 small and 3 large, 1 roll easy to remove tape.

Leslie Staying on task, use para to reinforce waiting on instructions before we touch equipment
Amr Focus on Task, use phrase eyes on me during instruction and demonstration
Nathan Using verbal responses during class, have facilitator as questions about activities he must answer
Johnny Using avoidance and lack of eye contact as a form of escape, us phrase eyes on me during instruction
Christian Over stimulation in large groups and settings, causing a meltdown. Reduce stimulation, have him
work in the hallway.

Have Roger tally the number of times Leslie touches the equipment without being told, including the times he is
corrected

Low tech, activity picture cards, station labels and explanation of activity and key prompts. If enough time
allotted use coaches eye for video and self-model.
Collaboration* Have instructors and paras give corrections and motivation cues during session, they will be posted on the wall

Leslie, Amr and Nathan have these students repeat key words about each activity before we begin and after it is
over.
Leslie and Amr answer short easy questionnaires with yes and no responses with facilitators help.
Johnny answer questions about an activity by pointing to correct answers when given options, or demonstrating
correct movements of a skill.
Christian follow up with facilitator to track progress being allow to work in hallway alone.

place, arm circle (forward 10, backward 10), Reach up (touch the sky) Bend down (touch toes).
Stations:
1. Mats & Footprint Path
All step UP floor mats, then step DOWN off the floor mats
Leslie & Amr follow designated path and step OVER cone
Nathan & Johnny follow designated path and step OVER cone (shorter steps)
2. Zig-Zag & Under
Run between cones
Nathan & Johnny FOLLOW the blue LINE (tape on floor for visual assistance)
Walk UNDER the rope
3. Balance Boards & Color Steps
Leslie and Amr balance on board 2 (10sec), step on poly spot balance on RIGHT foot
(10 sec.), balance on board 3 (10sec.), step on poly spot balance on LEFT foot (10 sec.)
Nathan & Johnny balance on board 1 (10 sec.), step on poly spot balance on RIGHT
foot (5 sec.) switch balance on LEFT foot (10 sec.)
All walk across the colored steps
4. Leslie & Amr (Toss & Catch)
Stand on poly spots spaced 5ft. apart
Toss UNDERHAND in order: beach ball, soft playground ball, rubber playground ball,
soccer ball, basketball. (both students toss each ball 5 times)
Sit on poly spot legs in front in V shape, PUSH 12lbs. medicine ball back and forth
4. Nathan & Johnny (Sit/Stand, Pickup, Push/Pull)
4 poly spots will be lined up in 2 pairs, 3ft. apart
2 chairs will be next to 2 poly spots on one end, and 2 large beanbags on top a Frisbee on
top of the other 2 poly spots. (1 beanbag on each Frisbee, 1 Frisbee on each poly spot)
Nathan & Jonny will practice SITTING in the chair then STANDING up (2 times)
Then they will PUSH their chair to the poly spot in front of them. PICKUP the Frisbee
with the large beanbag and put in on the seat then PUSH the chair back to the starting
poly spot.
Last they will PULL the chair back to the poly spot, put the Frisbee with the beanbag
back on the ground. PULL chair back to starting poly spot.
Standing Reach UP (to the sky), Bend DOWN (touch your toes)
Seated Extend legs out in front (toes pointed UP to the sky), Lean FORWARD and touch your
toes

Explain sport/activity etiquette *Every student must high-five before leaving class
On own time with facilitator will practice tossing a beach ball, soft playground ball & rubber
playground ball in the hallway. Poster will give cue word and phrases and poly spots will mark the
distance. (Attempt Day 1)
