Sed - Calculation Pad

This document contains calculations to determine the soil modulus of subgrade reaction (Ks) for a shallow foundation with a length of 1.83 m, width of 1.22 m, and soil bearing capacity of 200 kPa. Shape and depth influence factors are calculated using the foundation dimensions and soil properties. Ks is calculated to be 10059 kN/m3 at the center and 24350 kN/m3 at the corner of the foundation. An average Ks of 16000 kN/m3 is recommended for use in further calculations. Sliding stability is also checked.
