Our learning continues . . .
Writing:
We will study the procedural writing of a "how!to" which requires
clarity and sequence in this type of informational text. Students
know how to do many things and this is when they can show o#
their knowledge to teach others $doing a craft project, recess
games, morning arrival procedure, making a sandwich, etc.%.
They will learn the text features of a "how!to" piece so they
can include it as they write $title, materials needed, steps in order,
drawings with captions, etc.%. This unit is a fun one!
