Pythagoras
Pythagoras was a greek
philosopher and mathematician most
well known for the discovery of the
pythagorean theorem. Many thought that
Pythagoras was considered to be an idiot
and many thought he was crazy as well.
Some more things that Pythagoras
discovered was that constructing gures of
a given area and geometrical algebra. He
also discovered irrational numbers and
there uses. He also created a religion
called Pythagoreanism were lived a life
working with mathematics, music and
astronomy. The people that followed
him were also thought to be foolish.
The pythagorean theorem is an equation
made to solve that the missing/unknown
side of a right triangle. The equation is a!
+b!=c! meaning that the squares of two
legs of a triangle added together equal
the hypotenuse.
