Current Steering Circuits: V R I V V V R R R

1) A current mirror circuit uses a single resistor to create multiple current sources that all match the current of a reference source. 2) If the transistors in the current mirror circuit have different properties, specifically different width-to-length ratios, then the currents produced will be scaled versions of the reference current, proportional to the ratio of widths. 3) By adjusting the width-to-length ratio of each transistor in the current mirror, integrated circuits can be designed to produce current sources with different desired current values.
