Week 1 - Introduction

The Brief of my Assignment is to create a DVD package for a film or video game of my
choice. The final work I will submit will consist of creating a DVD case wrap for an Amaray-
style case. I will create a disk label including a logo which will also be done in Adobe
hotoshop. Both will be created using Adobe hotoshop. I will demonstrate my technical
skills and knowledge of using the tools and effects of this software. !y final submit will be
saved as "D format file so future edits can be made.
To promote my finished package I will produce a one minute promotional video using Adobe
remier ro. !y technical knowledge of using this software will be demonstrated. The final
edit of the video will be submitted as a #uickTime !ovie file encoded with the DV codec.
The progression of my ideas and research will be recorded on my blog. I will state how I
achieved my work by criticising and evaluating considering technical detail. !y blog will
show my complete pro$ect design process by making use of images% annotations% sketches
and notes. I will so use &avard referencing when using tutorials and making use of images
on the internet. Throughout my design process I will reflect upon my work and e'plain areas
I need to improve on.
I have chosen to create my games own games cover version of (rand Theft Auto. I will use
an distinctive background of the )(olden (ate Bridge*. +haracters will be cropped and
overlapping each other making them look as they all in one group in a scene.
