There are many factors that can affect learning, both positively and negatively. Some key facilitating factors include motivation, readiness, mental ability, physical development, meaningful subject matter, and active teaching methods. Other factors like intent to learn, distributed practice, whole-to-part learning, feedback on progress, and applying what is learned can also promote learning. mental health and teacher's personality. So the factors that affect learning are: 1. Motivation Motivation is at the heart of learning. It is sine qua non for learning. It arouses, sustains, directs and determines the intensity of learning effort. 2. Maturation It ma es speedy learning possi!le. The child "ho is physically and mentally mature learns a su!#ect at a faster rate. 3. Physical and Mental Development The child affects learning.
