Irregular Verbs
Base Form With regular verbs, the rule is simple... finish The past simple and past participle always end in -ed: stop work finished stopped worked finished stopped worked Past Simple Past Participle

But with irregular verbs, there is no rule... Sometimes the verb changes completely: Sometimes there is "half" a change: Sometimes there is no change: sing sang sung
