What Is Mouse

Mouse is a small input device used to control the movement of the cursor on a screen. There are different types of mice including mechanical mice which use a ball, optical mice which have no ball and use light detection, wireless mice which do not require a wire, trackball mice where the ball is on top and rolled with a finger, and stylus mice which resemble a pen. Mice usually have two or three buttons and are used on a flat surface like a mouse pad.

What is Mouse :

mouse is a small, lightweight pointing input device. Mouse is moved on a flat surface to control the movement of the pointer on a screen. A mouse usually has two or three buttons. These buttons are used to perform different tasks. Different types of mouse are as follows: Mechanical Mouse

Mechanical mouse contains a rubber or metal ball inside it. The movement of the cursor depends on the movement of the ball.

This mouse is normally used on mouse pad. Mouse pad is a- small flat pad made of rubber or foam to provide easy movement for the mouse. t protects the mouse from dust and dirt. Optical Mouse

!ptical mouse contains no ball inside it. t uses a device that emits light to detect the mouse movement. !ptical sensor or laser is used in these types of mouse. t is more e"pensive than mechanical mouse. Wireless Mouse

#ireless or cordless mouse is a type of mouse that does not re$uire a wire to work. t transmits data using wireless technology like radio waves or infrared light waves. The receiver is connected to the computer through a serial or %&' port.

Trackball mouse: (ike an upside-down mouse. )ather than roll the mouse around, you use your thumb or inde" finger to roll a ball on top of the mouse. The whole contraption stays stationary, so it doesn*t need a lot of room, and its cord never gets tangled.

Stylus mouse: Another mouse mutation en+oyed by the artistic type is the stylus mouse, which looks like a pen and draws on a special pad.
