SECTION 13770 ACCESS CONTROL PART 1 GENERAL

To be read in conjunction with design drawings, specialist security consultants specifications and all other contract documents including general specifications/requirements provided by the main consultant. 1.01 Related Documents A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Any other document forming part of the Tender Package, apply to this Section. 1.02 A. SUMMARY This section includes a Security Management system including Access Control System. SCOPE OF WORK AND SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

A. The MEP Contractor will install all containment and power supplies necessary to provide a complete working system, as indicated on the drawings. The MEP Contractor is responsible for all co-ordination between the building works and the security systems and between other MEP systems and the security systems, and shall include for all such works within his tender. The MEP Contractor shall include for supply, install test and commissioning the security systems within his works, and shall demonstrate at the time of tender that commissioning and demonstration of the security systems have been included within his programme of works. B. Contractor shall ensure interfacing with BMS & other services (as specified by specialist security consultant) as well as with existing AGC Complex security systems as per security consultants guide lines & requirements.

PART 2 - PRODUCTS A. Design and Specification provided by Specialist Security Consultant.
