Park and Ride Presentation 3 April 2012

The ACT Government commissioned a feasibility study to identify potential sites for new Park and Ride and Bike and Ride facilities in Tuggeranong to reduce traffic congestion and encourage more sustainable transport. Sites were evaluated based on their proximity to bus routes and stops, existing infrastructure, and access to roads and cycle paths. The study investigated potential sites at Athllon Drive in Wanniassa, Canberra Avenue, and Gungahlin West for Park and Ride facilities, and several locations for Bike and Ride sites. Community feedback was invited on the options, including sites at Athllon Drive and the Tuggeranong Town Centre, to help inform the final decisions.
