Complex Sentences (Writing Part 1)


A complex sentence has one main clause and one or more
subordinate clauses.
A conjunction joins words and sentences together.
Conjunctions include; since, until, after, although, because
Directions: Combine each pair of sentences using the given
conjunction.
Example A- John hit the ball. He saw it go by him. (when)
Answer- John hit the ball, when he saw it go by him.
1. Mariah couldnt believe what she saw. It happened so fast.
(because)
