Had the same problem on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. It's because the effing Mk4.reg is incorrect. Remove what is in there and replace with the following: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GT Interactive] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GT Interactive\Mortal Kombat 4] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GT Interactive\Mortal Kombat 4\1.00] "Path"=".\\" "Setup"="". MORTAL KOMBAT 4::::::::; Then import it into the registry by doing: Right click on Mk4.reg Click Open with Click Registry Editor Run Setup.exe The Install button is still greyed out, but the 'Play Game' button is now clicka ble. Or you can run "Mortal Kombat 4.exe" and it will start the game immediately This fix worked for me
