Webpages can be either static, with content that remains the same each visit, or dynamic, with content pulled from a database that is periodically updated. A webpage is a document written in HTML, which uses formatting instructions to display content on a user's browser when accessed via HTTP. Websites organize their pages into hierarchies through URLs and hyperlinks to convey navigation structure, typically including a home page with most site content links and supplementary pages for information, contact details, and external links. Some websites require paid subscriptions to access all or some protected content such as business sites, news sites, academic journals, gaming, file sharing, messaging boards, and other services.

Introduction Web pages are a presentation of information which can be presented in carefully chosen media

most appropriate for said product. Web pages can be static or dynamic, meaning that the content is the same each time someone visits the webpage or is taken from a database which is updated with new content. Lets Explore what is webpage and how does it work as infotainment channel for us? A webpage is a document, typically written in plain text which is interspersed with formatting instructions of Hypertext Mark up Language or shortly called as HTML. Web pages are accessed and transported with the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to the user. The users application, often a web browser, renders the page content according to its HTML mark up instructions on to a display terminal.

The pages of a website can usually be accessed from a simple Uniform Resource Locator (URL) called the web address. The URLs of the pages organize them into a hierarchy, although hyperlinking between them conveys the reader's perceived site structure and guides the reader's navigation of the site which generally includes a home page with most of the links to the site's web content, and a supplementary about, contact and link page. Some websites require a subscription to access some or all of their content. Examples of subscription websites include many business sites, parts of news websites, academic journal websites, gaming websites, file-sharing websites, message boards, web-based email, social networking websites, websites providing real-time stock market data, and websites providing various other services (e.g., websites offering storing and/or sharing of images, files and so forth).
