Design of Square Footing

This document summarizes the design of a square footing to support a column with a dead load of 330.936 kN and live load of 112.607 kN. The footing dimensions are determined to be 1.8m x 1.8m with a thickness of 450mm. Reinforcement is designed as 13 bars of 20mm diameter steel in both directions. Punching shear, beam shear, bending, development length, load transfer, and weight of the footing are all checked and found to be adequate to support the given loads.
