Related AITSL standard: 2.6 (Professional knowledge domain): Implement teaching strategies for using ICT to expand curriculum learning opportunities for students. Goal: Facilitate the use of interactive whiteboards as a means to engage and enhance student learning in three aspects of my lessons. Plan of action: Steps 1. Watch tutorials on how to use interactive whiteboards on youtube. 2. Consult with supervising teacher and discuss how to utilise IWBs in my lessons. 3. Ask AGPS if they have any PDs on IWBs that I can attend (attend if able to). *I have asked Aspendale Gardens and unfortunately I was unable to attend their PD as it costed the school money per teacher who attended and it was full. However I am planning to attend a PD during PD week, presented by Coby Beatson, called IWBs more than just a projector. 4. Use IWBs as detailed in lesson plans. 5. Reflect on the effectiveness of their use. 6. Attend a PD at PD week presented by Coby Beatson: IWBs more than just a projector. Evidence to collect. URLS. Practicum report / emails.
