Connecting your own device to school wifi

Android devices
1. Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > WiFi settings.

5. Enter the settings as per the picture below and press Save. 2. Wait for your device to do a scan. 3. If you can see nswdet, wipe previous configurations. DO NOT CONNECT.

Depending on if you have attempted to connect previously, you will get either of these menus:

6. You will be asked to authenticate. Enter your portal username and password. Add @detnsw at the end of your username. Username: firstname.surname@detnsw Password: your portal password 4. Click Add a Wi-Fi network.
