Candidate: Irene Navarro Content Area: Organization and Quotations Subject Matter: Writing Lesson Content Description: Students will learn about organizing their writing and using quotations in a sentence. Type of Lesson: Direct Instruction Instructional Strategies/Method of Delivery: Direct Instruction Content Standard: LANGUAGE STADNARD: L 5.2- Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing. ELD Standard: INTERMEDIATE COMPREHENSION Restate and execute multiple-step oral directions. Lesson Objective: All students will use editing marks to determine where quotation marks should be on a given worksheet.
