Purpose : This procedure is used as work instruction for Turbine Operator, Desk Engineer and Field Engineer Scope : This procedure explains charging & isolation of HP Heaters Responsibility: Turbine Operator, Field Engineer, Desk Engineer & Shift In charge Procedure: Charging of HP Heater-5 Ensure opening of FD-7 &FD-9. Open start up vent of shell side. Open DR-13 & DR-16. Open EX-12 slowly for gradual rise of condensate temperature. Close drain valve EX-104 & EX-106 after opening of EX-12. Regulate DR-16 & DR-13 for maintaining normal level of HP heater-5. Assign set point for 1) DR 13=0.0 mm (NWL) 2) DR 16 =+60 Close shell side startup vent and open running vent. Ensure healthiness of FCNRV; in case of very high Heater levels. Charging of HP Heater-6 Ensure opening of FD-10 &FD-12 Open start up vent of shell side. Open DR-2 , DR-6 & DR 9 Open EX-13 bleed valve slowly for gradual rise of condensate temperature. Close drain valve EX-133 & EX-132 after opening of EX-13. Regulate DR-2for maintaining normal level of HP heater-6. Assign set point for 1)DR 2=0.0 mm(NWL) 2) DR 6 & DR 9 =+60 Close shell side startup vent and open running vent. Ensure healthiness of FCNRV, in case of very high Heater levels Cross Reference : RECORDS : Nil Nil
