Lifting lugs 1- 4 or 5- 8: The lifting lugs 1-4 or 5-8 are the main lifting lugs of the Kolli. They are designed to carry the full load of the turbine with baseframe. General remarks: The position of the center of gravity could not exactly be calculated. To lift the turbine the transport contractor has to adjust the tackle blocks in order to keep the turbine horizontally. During the lifting process the contractor has to regard the ropes carefully. If the ropes touch the turbine body the turbine has to be protected by means of wood pieces. If the ropes touch any piping of the turbine, the contractor has to decide about using other rope length or spreader beams in order not to damage the turbine internal pipes. The ropes 1-4 are the main lifting ropes and have to carry the full load of the turbine with baseframe. It is transport contractors responsibility to choose the right ropes.
