3. Define Q factor of a series RLC circuit.

4. Explain Duality Transformation.

5. State Superposition theorem.

6. Explain Compensation theorem with a simple circuit.

7. Obtain the poles and zeors of the transfer function

11. Frame and solve the node equations of the network shown below.
Find the total power consumed by the passive elements of the
network.

following circuit.

13. What is resonance? Deduce the expressions for current,


bandwidth, frequency and impedance for a parallel resonance.

14. Draw the phasor diagram for an RLC series circuit. Also obtain
the phase relation between voltage and current for various values
of L and C.

15. Using Thevinin’s theorem, determine the current in the 1Ω


resistance of the network shown.

17. Obtain the transient response of a series RLC circuit with step
