15.5 Sorting Chart Data


Data presented in charts can be sorted (Standard Sorts and/or Custom Sorts), sort priorities can be changed, and sorts can be removed. 15.5.1 Applying Sorts to Chart Data We have the following chart and would like to apply sorts on the x-axis to present the data in descending [Year] and descending [Quarter]. We can see that the chart has been selected but toolbar button for applying sorts is disabled.

1. Switch to View Structure button for applying sorts.

mode and click on the label =[Year] to enable toolbar
