Car Facts
Ferrari FXX

The most advanced GT car ever created at Maranello, the FXX is the flagship in the

technology
• Michael Schumacher was given the 30th FXX when he retired from Formula One
racing at the end of 2006

evolution package
• The evolution package was developed as a result of Ferrari's collaboration with its

of the F430 Challenge. As ever, the transfer from Formula One is significant –
particularly in the braking system and Formula One gearbox.
• The Ferrari F430 Challenge is specifically developed for racing
• The Challenge made its racing debut during the 2006 Ferrari Challenge Trofeo
Pirelli. It raced alongside the 360 Modena Challenge (with separate races / classes),

Since 2002, the Challenge has been run in Italy, Europe and the USA and now

Ferrari 250 GTO

raced today in such events as the Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge Championship
• The interior was stripped-down and simple in the extreme
