Cardiology - Defibrillator: A: Silence Alarm E: Setup Mode

1) To enter the setup mode of a cardiology defibrillator, press and hold the silence alarm key while turning the knob to the setup mode option. The event list shows operation history and the instrument report shows error history and test results. The battery should be replaced when used for over a year or when capacity is below 70%. 2) Pressing the reset key after replacing the battery updates the battery replacement date. 3) Possible causes for a defibrillator failing to turn on with a blank screen, in order of troubleshooting, are the motherboard, LCD inverter, and LCD unit.
