determined by the fossils in them.
 This is what is called circular reasoning and is
solely based on the Geological Column by
George Lyell that has never been proven in the
scientific world.
What the Bible Says
 Literal Days or Millions of Years?
 Firstuse of Day, translated from the
Hebrew word yom is established as a 24
hour day
 Anytime evening, morning or a number is
used with day (yom) in the Bible it always
means a literal 24 hour day

 1:5 - …..evening, morning, first day
 1:8 - …..evening, morning, second day
 1:13 - …….evening, morning, third day
 1:19 - …….evening, morning, fourth day
 1:23 - …….evening, morning, fifth day

 Do you think God is trying to get our
attention here? He pays attention to detail.
God rested on the seventh day.
 From a common sense standpoint, it
would not make sense for God to rest on
the seventh billion years.

on the seventh to give us a model for our

Press (Norfolk, UK) Oct 5, 1994 p. 7 disproves
aforementioned theory. Says “ Without any regard to the
laws of geology, mud on the marsh is hardening into
stone in a few years rather than the thousands of years it
usually takes…..Professor Coleman said the rock was
forming faster than anybody had ever believed possible,
with one stone creating itself in just six months…..They
often contain beautifully preserved fossils, where the
detail of the soft flesh of the creature is caught, as well
as, the bone, as it had no time to rot before the rock
formed around it.”
 Heavens (Stars)
 Theistic Evolutionists – Date the cosmos at 15 billion
years old due to the fact that the farthest thing they can
see is a quasar that is 15 billion light years away. They
theorize that since it took 15 billion light years for the
light to travel from there to here the Earth must be 15
billion years old. This is based on the assumption of
evolution and the time it would have taken for the
galaxies, stars and planets to form after the Big Bang.
One light year is 6 trillion miles.
 Psalm 19:1 – The heavens declare the Glory of God; the
skies proclaim the works of his hands.
 God lets us know here that he created the heavens to
declare his glory.
