Bacteria Commonly Related to Clinical Laboratories
According to a study 428 Organisms were Isolated, different tests were used for their identification. The genera represented were:
1- Pseudomonas 2- Acinetobacter 3- Flavobacterium
These bacteria were:
49% from Patients 32% from Environmental sites
Isolates from Patients came from: 31% Respiratory tract secretions 28% Peritoneal dialysis fluid and catheter 25% Urine 11% Wounds 5% Blood
Note: Use Nutrient (MH) agar for getting isolates, as this media allows growth for most type of bacteria
