Start of Class: Check in students second drafts. Introduction of Lesson: Explain how the days peer edit is different from the previous ones. Lesson Instruction: Students will read their essays out loud to their partner in order to catch Errors. Students will read their partners essay looking for phrases that could be enhance by using figurative language. Assessments/Checks for Understanding:
I will circulate amongst groups checking on their progress and making suggestions.

Closure/Wrap-Up/Review: Students will begin to film their PSA videos. Announce that the final draft of the essay is due the following morning. Self-Assessment: This lesson will be a success if students are able to use figurative language and vocabulary to enhance both their own and their classmates essay.
