Customer Testimonials
(what theyre saying on )
Just got my book today, and I love it. It's helpful, easy to read, and will make my last year in high school and college so much easier. Thank you so much SWAdvantage, and thank you Chelsey for being so awesome!!! I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs more info for any subject or needs help with other subjects, because for once, Science looks so much easier with this. :) -Jeremiah W.

My husband and I are SW Alumni and I was so happy today when Robin knocked on our door and I could buy some more books and cd's from her! It's fun being on the buying end of the SW family! =-) -Alexandria M.

I just purchased these books and am now going to check out the website. From what I have seen so far I really think this is a great set of books. My 12 year old son really wanted them and to be honest I thought they might be able to help me RELEARN algebra for yet the 3rd time! I wanted to help my son with his math so I purchased Algebra for Dummies and now I'm seeing that the math section of these books was all I needed. Can't wait to see how much we use them throughout this school year and many more to come. If they can re-teach me algebra then it was money well spent because I'm a hard student (at 50) to teach! -Wendy S.

Jacob just left our house and we purchased the Ask Me and Exp & Learn books. We already had the Student Handbooks. He was a delightful person. We hope to get more books as our daughter Isabelle needs them. We have had great experience with the Student Handbooks and we are comfortable knowing that the new ones will be just as helpful. Thanks Jacob for visiting us in Esom Hill. -Amanda H.

Student Testimonials
Its hard to explain how much my first summer meant to me. Im so grateful that my mom raised me to never be a quitter because she was right, it was so hard! In my short summer of 8 weeks on the bookfield, Im pretty sure I hit every single emotion that is humanly possible but in the end, I walked away with poise, confidence, and an experience that I will NEVER forget (not to mention a trip to Jamaica and little over $10,000 in the bank). My Southwestern internship experience changed the trajectory of my life. It has completely set me apart from my peers mentally, emotionally, and professionally. I know now that I can achieve anything I want in this life, its just a matter of action, belief, and faith.

when it really hit me that I gained personal growth was when my mom, who lost sleep over this when I first told her about SW, told me that she wished she looked at problems the way I did. She said she grew up seeing a problem as the end of the world, and that I saw a problem as a chance to change the world. Even though I gained all the things they said I would in the informational meeting and more, what I truly learned was that anything that scared me about the job, before or during, is something that I would have to eventually face, not just in this job, or my later career, but throughout life. Why delay facing that challenge?

Justin Mangen

So if youre having a problem deciding on SW or if you are facing difficult times while out there, ask yourself this: will challenges you face this summer be the end of the world or a chance to change it?

I've come into opportunities that would never have been possible for me outside of Southwestern, like traveling to Cancun, Nashville, and New Orleans. Southwestern is not just about a challenging and amazing summer, it's also about team building! I am honored to have the opportunity to invite my hardworking friends into the Southwestern Advantage internship and share the experience with them. It would be selfish of me NOT to tell others about Southwestern and the doors it can open...literally.

Student Testimonials
The things that I took away from that summer aside from the money was the pride I felt in knowing that anything was possible as long as I was committed to my goals and I put in the hard work it takes to reach them. I remember driving home in the car I purchased with my check and knowing that I was going come back to do this again for sure. Nothing has made a bigger impact on my life than that first summer pushing myself further than I ever thought I was capable of going and really seeing what I was made of. There are so many people you meet in life that never live up to their potential, Ive met them every day during the summer, and after selling books I know I will never be one of them.

Everyday I thank God, and I laugh at how simple it was for my life to change course for the amazingly better so quickly. The Southwestern Company has taught me so many things about business and finances that in my youth has proven so helpful. But more important the Southwestern Company taught me a lot about life and how to really live it fully. I many times I see people constantly negative and unhappy with life, not realizing they are extremely blessed. I feel that I have earned the tools that I need in life from the Southwestern Company to be able to live a happy life, and overcome the obstacles that will present themselves down the road. Anyone who is thinking about participating in the Southwestern Company internship program, I would absolutely say that its one of the best ways to spend your summer and I look forward to reading your testimonial one day as well.

A student manager texted me: If you're looking for a paid internship this summer, message me! I'll hook you up! To which I responded with little enthusiasm: Im interested. Little did I know, those two words would change my life forever. it is the people of Southwestern that keep me coming back. I am so grateful and have learned so much from each of those individuals and continue to as I meet more and more Southwestern interns. This is a company that builds people and creates valuable networks that allow each individual the chance to discover what s/he is truly capable of achieving.
