USSD Call Flows

The document describes the signaling flows for mobile originated and mobile terminated USSD/SCI interactions between a mobile station, MSC/VLR, HLR, and SCP. For mobile originated USSD, the signaling includes a USSD_REQUEST message from the MSC/VLR to the HLR and a USSD_RESPONSE back. For mobile terminated USSD, the signaling starts with a USSD_REQUEST from the SCP to the HLR which then triggers a USSD_REQUEST to the MSC/VLR and a USSD_RESPONSE back to the HLR and SCP. Additional USSD sequences can occur depending on the service implemented. No MAP messages are visible between the MS and MSC/
