The TEAMLINK 3116 is a 16 port digital cross connect switch that provides functions such as dropping and inserting, distributing and collecting 64Kbps voice, data, or video channels across E1 trunks. TEAMLINK 3116 is a 16 E1s Digital cross connect switch that provides the cross connect functions such as drop-and-insertion, distribution and collection of (DS0) 64Kbps information (voice, data or video) channels. A user programmable connection table connects any incoming 64K bps timeslot to any outgoing 64K bps timeslot. The typical applications are : Channel relocating. Grooming the fractional trunks into full E1 trunks. Grooming of monitoring signals (SS7 or other). Broadcasting identical data to multiple destinations (half duplex conferencing).
