General Reporter at The Daily Texan- The University of Texas at Austin Spring 2012 I gained intial experience covering various University events and features, and gradually transitioned into covering local politics.

Employment
Student Assistant at Kinsolving Dormitory, UT Division of Housing & Food Service Fall 2012 | 16 hours per week I work part-time in a student housing convenience store, working in such areas as cashiering, food prep, and inventory/stocking. Labor at Taos Housing Cooperative- Austin, Texas Summer 2012-present | 4-6 hours per week I live in a housing cooperative where residence cook and clean the house collectively. As my labor, I run the house newsletter The Taosian. I create content (sometimes serious, sometimes humorous), accept submissions, edit articles and house announcments, and publish every two weeks for a circulation of approximately 150 people. Sales Associate/Cashier at Forever 21 Retail, Inc- Austin, Texas Summer 2010-Summer 2011, 28 hours per week I sold clothes and worked as a cashier where I learned valuable customer service skills in a retail setting.

Skills
Writing: I have thorough, updated knowledge of AP Style and I am adept with basic elements of journalistic form and style. Software: I am proficient with Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Bridge, Photoshop, and Audition. I have expert knowledge and experience with each program in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and OneNote. I have taken coursework in and have working knowledge of HTML coding.
