Passive Voice

The document provides examples of sentences in the active and passive voice. In the active voice, the subject performs the action stated by the verb. In the passive voice, the subject receives the action performed by an implied or stated agent. For each active voice sentence using common verbs like "drink", the document gives the equivalent transformation to the passive voice by changing the verb form and moving the subject to receive the action rather than perform it. Some examples of the transformations are provided.
