Paju Book City - Seoul (Korea) - DEGEYTER2000

The building will serve as the headquarters for a publishing company located in the new Paju Book City district outside Seoul, South Korea. The design addresses the unstable site context and changing program needs. A steel honeycomb structure on the exterior provides column-free interior space that can flexibly accommodate changes. Vertical circulation and utilities are located in closed appendages to keep the main volume open and adaptable to the publishing company's dynamic needs.
