International certifications of students
Students receive an international certification in Project Management awarded by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) through the Project Management Association of Iceland. Students can receive IPMA C or B certification, but certification considers both knowledge and experience.
Students become Associate Certified Coaches (ACC)
awarded by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
The AMPM programme is an accredited pathway to become a
Chartered Project Management Professional (ChPP) in the UK, certified by the
Association of Project Management (APM).

Accreditations
The University’s Advanced Master of Project Management (AMPM) programme is hosted by the Department of Engineering at the School of Technology. The internationally acclaimed Association for Project Management (APM), the UK branch of the International Project Management Association (IPMA) accredited the programme. The quality assurance of Reykjavik University builds on the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area – ESG 2015 and the Icelandic Quality Enhancement Framework (QEF) of the Quality Board of the Ministry for Icelandic Higher Education. The programme is committed to meet the standards of the Worldwide CDIO Initiative for the enhancement of education within schools of engineering.
