The survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 were 1,000 miles off course when they crashed on a lush, mysterious island. Each person possesses a shocking secret, but they've got nothing on the island itself, which harbors a monstrous security system, a series of underground bunkers and a group of violent survivalists hidden in the shadows.

James Poniewozik TIME Magazine TV may be an excessive medium, but the brilliant, groundbreaking Lost may just show it that quality can beat quantity. Jul 7, 2023 Full Review Frazier Moore Associated Press Four seasons in, the show demands even more of the viewer than it used to. But those who have stuck around know that rewards richly outweighs the frustration. Jul 7, 2023 Full Review Mary McNamara Los Angeles Times Lost is a show that has long required surrender, to the creative process if nothing else -- I often found myself rooting for the writers as much as for the characters. Oct 24, 2019 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand ... gets back on track with dynamic shifts in character alliances ... and a dramatic change in style: the defining flashbacks are replaced by flash-forwards, which tease us with glimpses of the characters who make it off the island... Apr 30, 2025 Full Review Ed Travis Hollywood Jesus Lost capitalizes on the fascinating nature of complex people in extreme situations, and we're all blessed by the thrilling process. Apr 10, 2020 Full Review Ellen Gray Philadelphia Daily News I still don't know where it's headed, but it feels, finally, as if we could be getting somewhere. Brant D Up until the finale of this season, I genuinely believed this was the greatest show I've ever had the pleasure of viewing. Every single character is beautifully written with such immense detail. The way their storylines are intricately connected with such precision makes the show stand out from any other I've seen. Four seasons in, and they still manage to fill gaps and ask new questions, while other mysteries remain unsolved. So much is being thrown at you all at once, but it's all captivating enough to keep you in the loop. I remember watching this for the first time in 2013, and to this day, I can honestly say I’ve never had a show stick with me like this one. I constantly find myself in situations where it feels like divine intervention is at play, and I just think, “Damn, my life’s like Lost.” Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/08/25 Full Review Conrad C You can kind of see that the show was supposed to end here, this season could have wrapped everything up nicely (especially if it had been full-length), but instead everything that happens feels pointless because it's going to drag on for much longer. The flash forwards mostly replace the flashbacks in this season, but instead of increasing the suspense they mostly filled me with dread of what is to come. New characters don't tend to get much development due to the removal of the flashbacks. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/25 Full Review Keklek S Great premise and decent acting are ruined by an incoherent plot that adds mysterious elements for the sake of shock value without ever explaining the mystery. Writers started the script with an interesting premise but couldn't find how to develop the characters and the storyline. So they just kept adding one inexplicable mystery after another to keep the viewers hooked but couldn't conclude the storyline comprehensively. Utterly disappointed. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/13/24 Full Review Dr.MG t Masterpieces ❤️ One of the best tv shows i ever watched Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/18/24 Full Review Benjamin H With inventive flash-forwards, deft pacing and a bountiful of new details and plot revelations, Lost Season 4 is yet another amazing and captivating season of this unique and intriguing show that manages to upkeep the suspense and boldness of previous seasons while also developing all of its characters (amazing performances all-around also) splendidly. The only negative here is that there are some things here and there that is a bit too stacked. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/06/24 Full Review Peacemaker Brilliant! Very captivating and thoroughly engaging series! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews
