Temporary Closure of Roads in Finstown for Firth Gala Day Fancy Dress Parade
Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the Firth Gala Day Fancy Dress Parade.
The Order will be in operation on Saturday, 21 June 2025 and its effect will be to close the roads specified in the Schedule hereto, between the hours of 1915 and 2030. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
Schedule
(1) the A965 from the Pomona Inn to Old Finstown Road; (2) the Old Finstown Road from the A965 to Acre Lea; and (3) Acre Lea Road
