Netflix ISP Speed Index for March 2025

Forty-five percent of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) saw an increase of 0.2 Mbps, 54% stayed the same, and 1% saw a decrease between 0.2 and 0.4 Mbps this month on the Netflix ISP Speed Index , our monthly update on which ISPs provide the best prime-time Netflix streaming experience.

Eighteen countries and regions were in the top performance tier in March: Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States all registered an average speed of 3.4 Mbps.

While there were no significant individual ISP increases since February's results, four ISPs saw a decrease between 0.2 and 0.4 Mbps this month. Vivo Internet in Brazil fell from 3.0 to 2.8 Mbps, Massy Communications in Trinidad and Tobago decreased from 2.6 to 2.4 Mbps, FPT Telecom in Vietnam dropped from 3.0 to 2.8 Mbps, and BOnline in Kuwait fell from 2.6 to 2.2 Mbps.

The Netflix ISP Speed Index is a measure of prime-time Netflix performance on a particular ISP and not a measure of overall performance for other services or data that may travel across the specific ISP network. Higher Netflix performance generally means better picture quality, quicker start times, and fewer interruptions. We also created a separate tool to check your current download performance: Visit https://FAST.com on any internet browser or download the FAST Speed Test iOS or Android app.
