DRAIN — The North Douglas Warriors whipped the Glendale Pirates 11-1 in six innings in a nonleague softball game on Saturday at Howard's Field.
Brooklyn Cyr went 4-for-4 with two home runs, four RBIs and four runs for the Warriors (12-2 overall). Cyr went deep in the fourth and sixth innings, and has 10 homers on the season.
Tehya Williams was 3-for-4 with two runs, Bailey Teixeira was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs, and Presly Frey went 2-for-3 with a two-bagger and two RBIs in the win.
Cyr pitched the win, allowing three hits with 11 strikeouts and no walks. Audrey Kirkland hit an inside-the-park homer for the Pirates (6-5) in the sixth.
Glendale travels to Lost River Tuesday for a doubleheader. North Douglas hosts Oakridge Wednesday.
