Congratulations to Microdermics, who has received seed funding from e@UBC, just months after winning our 2016 competition!
The investment from e@UBC’s Seed Fund will allow Microdermics to continue developing their proprietary microneedle, aimed at eliminating the reliance on hypodermic needles.
The venture is currently a part of the cohort at e@UBC’s HATCH, an incubator for tech companies who are preparing to launch.
To date, e@UBC’s Seed Fund has invested in 13 companies, including past BCIC-New Ventures competitors:
- Aspect Biosystems (2nd Place, 2014)
- Eagle Energy (Top 25, 2015)
- Illusense (Top 25, 2013)
- Microbiome (Top 10, 2015)
- Nanozen (Prize winner, 2015)
Visit e@UBC’s website below to learn more. Congrats, Microdermics!
