But one student has taken everyone by surprise. She revealed that she flies to college every day, spending a staggering Rs 20,000 on her daily commute. While most students stick to budget-friendly options like the Metro, train, or cab, her mode of travel has sparked widespread amazement.

A Unique Commute: Flying To College
As reported by the South China Morning Post, a 22-year-old Japanese girl named Yuzuki Nakashima flies to college every day. She resides in Tokyo, while her university is in Fukuoka, approximately 1,000 kilometres away.
Despite the distance, Yuzuki never misses a class, spending four hours on flights each day. Her daily travel expenses amount to roughly Rs 20,000, with a one-way flight costing 15,000 yen (around Rs 9,000) and the round trip totalling Rs 18,000. After landing, she takes a bus to reach her university.
Early Start To The Day
Yuzuki begins her day at 5am to catch the 6am flight to Fukuoka. She arrives at Kitakyushu airport at 9:30am and then takes a bus to campus.

During her flight, she uses the time to complete assignments. One might wonder why she doesn’t simply study in Fukuoka, but the reason is that she is a pop singer based in Tokyo. In her pursuit of both academic and professional goals, she’s turned into a true super-commuter.
