The concert is going all out with choreography by none other than Shiamak Davar, plus some next-level immersive technology and large-scale production elements. Rahman promises a mix of his iconic hits and fresh tracks that will have everyone vibing.

In a recent chat with Mashable India, Rahman shared some exciting details about the event. “We’re getting popular dance numbers too. Chaiyya Chaiyya, there’s no concert without Chaiyya Chaiyya," he said, adding, “What’s happened in the past six or seven years is that the interactivity with the audience, the love, especially after COVID-19 has been phenomenal. Like what people like Jacob Collier are doing… even in India, people are so interactive, even in small gigs. They know every lyric and sing along."

This epic concert is part of the Waves Summit and is being produced by Percept Live, Fairgame Entertainment, and Jo Entertainment, in collaboration with Rahman himself.

On the movie front, Rahman is busy composing the music for Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film Thug Life.
