Fantasy News

James Wiseman

Waived by Toronto Wiseman was traded to the Raptors by the Pacers ahead of the NBA trade deadline. Toronto waived the 23-year-old big man Thursday, who was already ruled out for the season after suffering a torn Achilles in the first game of the 2024-25 campaign with Indiana. The former second overall pick faces a long recovery from the injury and an uncertain future in the NBA due to this latest development.

Myles Turner

Ruled out with possible concussion Turner won't return to Thursday's game against the Clippers. The veteran big man is being evaluated for a concussion. Indiana will likely turn to Thomas Bryant to help shoulder the load in Turner's absence.

Myles Turner

Heads to locker room After logging six minutes Thursday against the Clippers, Turner had to be taken to the locker room with an apparent head injury after being inadvertently hit by Pacers teammate Benedict Mathurin. The veteran big man recorded one steal while going 0-for-4 from the floor before heading to the locker room at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

Trevor Keels

Impresses from deep as top scorer Keels took Wednesday's game over with his success from deep, connecting on a team-leading mark from three while leading all Wolves players in scoring in a losing effort. Keels has appeared in 29 contests this year, averaging 18.8 points, 3.9 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game.

El Ellis

Leads offensively in defeat Ellis paced the Wolves on the offensive end of the floor Wednesday, leading all players in assists while concluding as the lone player with a double-double in a losing effort. Ellis has appeared in 32 outings, averaging 11.8 points, 4.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 0.9 steals per contest.

Skylar Mays

Shines off bench in debut Mays made his debut in the G League, and with Iowa on Wednesday's outing, he provided a big spark off the bench by leading all Wolves' second-unit players in scoring and threes made. Before arriving in Iowa, Mays had been playing with Fenerbahce in Turkey, averaging 7.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists for the overseas squad.

Babacar Sane

Reaches double figures in debut Sane made his debut with Iowa in Wednesday's contest, playing a strong role off the bench while leading all Wolves second unit players in rebounds to go along with a double-digit point total. Sane appeared in 24 G League contests with Salt Lake City before arriving in Iowa, averaging 7.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per outing.

Will Baker

Contributes off bench in return Baker returned after missing time due to an illness, contributing off the bench with a bucket over a bench-low minute total. Baker has appeared in 15 contests this year, averaging 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game.

Naji Marshall

Another strong outing off bench Thursday was the first time since Nov. 27 that Marshall reached the 20-point mark, and he finished as the Mavericks' third-leading scorer behind Klay Thompson (25) and Spencer Dinwiddie (22). Marshall has scored in double digits in each of his last three outings, and over that span he has averaged 17.0 points on 52.6 percent shooting, 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals over 25.3 minutes per game.

Spencer Dinwiddie

Strong outing off bench Thursday was Dinwiddie's most productive outing since his 28-point performance against the Thunder on Jan. 17. The veteran guard made timely buckets that prevented the Celtics from making any sort of comeback, and he finished as the Mavericks' second-leading scorer behind Klay Thompson (25). Though he's coming off the bench, Dinwiddie will have opportunities to run the Mavericks' offense alongside newcomer Anthony Davis when Kyrie Irving rests on the bench.

Klay Thompson

Turns back clock against Boston Thompson helped the Mavericks get out to a large lead Thursday, scoring 23 of his 25 points in the first half in a performance reminiscent of his 2021-22 NBA Finals performance against Boston. Thompson has scored at least 20 points in three of his last six outings, and over that span, he has shot 44.0 percent from three on 8.3 3PA/G. He'll look to carry that momentum into Saturday's clash against the Rockets.

Alondes Williams

Flirts with triple-double in win Williams did it all for Sioux Falls in Tuesday's contest, leading all players in assists and steals while recording a team-high-tying pair of blocks and coming up two rebounds short of a triple-double. Williams has appeared in nine G League games with Sioux Falls, averaging 21.1 points, 7.1 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest.

Payton Pritchard

Extended run during garbage time With Boston down by more than 20 points, head coach Joe Mazulla went with Pritchard and four other Celtics reserves for most of the fourth quarter. Pritchard scored 16 of his 22 points in the final frame, and it was the first time since Jan. 18 against Atlanta that the fifth-year guard reached the 20-point threshold. The Celtics will need that firepower from their Sixth Man of the Year candidate against the Knicks on Saturday.

Bryson Warren

Strong from three as top scorer Warren lit it up from deep in Tuesday's contest, leading all Sioux Falls players in threes made while posting a team-best scoring mark and finishing one assist shy of a double-double. Warren has appeared in 31 G League outings, averaging 10.7 points, 3.1 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 steals per contest.

Jaylen Brown

Team-high 25 points Thursday Brown was the Celtics' leading scorer Thursday in a game that saw head coach Joe Mazulla empty the bench for most of the fourth quarter. He's scored at least 25 points in four of his last six outings, and he has shot 53.8 percent from the field over that span. Brown and the Celtics will look to get back on track in Saturday's pivotal Atlantic division clash against the Knicks.

Tyler Polley

Perfect off bench in victory Polley was perfect off the Sioux Falls bench, not missing a shot from the field or from deep while finishing as one of five Skyforce players with a double-digit point total. Polley has appeared in 15 G League outings with Sioux Falls, averaging 3.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest.

Al Horford

Does little in spot start Coming off a strong double-double performance in Tuesday's win against the Cavaliers, Horford was inserted into the Celtics' starting five Thursday due to the absence of Jrue Holiday (shoulder). Horford couldn't replicate the success he found two days prior, with his lone field goal coming on a three-pointer. He could start in Saturday's game against the Knicks if Holiday is not cleared to play.

Moses Moody

Cleared to play Thursday Following a one-game absence with a back injury in Wednesday's loss to the Jazz, Moody will return to Golden State's lineup Thursday. The 22-year-old has reached double-digit scoring figures in nine of his last 10 outings, during which Moody has averaged 12.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 2.6 threes in 25.0 minutes.

Kevon Looney

Will play Thursday Looney will help provide some much-needed depth in the frontcourt Thursday on the road in Los Angeles. The veteran big man is coming off a decent all-around performance in Wednesday's loss to the Jazz, finishing with six points, 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 23 minutes off the bench for Golden State.

Christian Brown

Pitches in off bench in return Brown returned Tuesday after missing time with a leg injury, contributing off the bench despite playing in a bench-low minute total. Brown has appeared in 10 G League outings this season, averaging 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.6 assists per contest.

Trayce Jackson-Davis

Available Thursday After missing Wednesday's loss to Utah due to knee soreness, Jackson-Davis will return Thursday on the second leg of Golden State's back-to-back. The 24-year-old big man will come off the bench against Los Angeles, and he has averaged 5.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 12.5 minutes over his last five games.

Draymond Green

Available Thursday Green will be on the floor Thursday to take on the Lakers in Los Angeles. The veteran forward played the last two games for Golden State after missing seven straight games with a calf issue. The four-time NBA champion is averaging 8.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks per game for the Warriors this season.

Tony Snell

Returns to inactive list Snell was one of two players who were inactive in Tuesday's contest, though the exact specifics of his injury are unknown. Snell last appeared on the court Dec. 3, and he has averaged 2.8 points, 1.2 assists and 1.0 rebounds over six G League contests.

P.J. Washington

Set to play on wing Washington will miss a third straight game Thursday following the recent birth of his third child. Once he rejoins the team, Washington will be part of a new-look starting frontcourt that now includes Anthony Davis (abdomen), who is expected to make his Mavericks debut as the team's power forward. Davis is likely to spell Daniel Gafford at center for stretches of games, so while Washington will have to adapt to playing at small forward more frequently, he's still likely to see some minutes at power forward when Gafford or Davis are off the floor. In addition to potentially presenting Washington with fewer rebounding and shot-blocking opportunities, Davis' arrival will likely cause Washington drop down a spot in the offensive hierarchy. Washington had recently been serving as the No. 2 option behind Kyrie Irving while Luka Doncic (calf) had missed extended time prior to being traded to the Lakers.

Christian Wood

Remains out Thursday Wood has yet to play this season while recovering from the left knee surgery he underwent in September. On Wednesday, head coach JJ Redick told Daniel Starkand of LakersNation.com that he had no formal update on the status of Wood, who appears safe to rule out through the All-Star break. With the Lakers adding Mark Williams at the trade deadline to supplement a frontcourt mix that already includes Jarred Vanderbilt, Jaxson Hayes and Dorian Finney-Smith, Wood will likely find himself out of the rotation once he returns to full health.

Julian Strawther

Starting sans Murray With both Jamal Murray (knee) and Russell Westbrook (hamstring) on the shelf, Strawther will receive the starting nod for the first time in his two-year career. The 22-year-old has played significant minutes off the bench all season, and over his last five outings, he has averaged 10.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 three-pointers across 22.0 minutes per contest.

Gabe Vincent

Upgraded to available As expected, the Lakers have upgraded Vincent from probable to available Thursday. The veteran guard has played a meaningful role in the Los Angeles rotation over his last eight games, during which Vincent has averaged 8.9 points, 2.5 assists, 1.1 rebounds, 0.6 blocks and 2.0 threes in 24.5 minutes.

LeBron James

Good to go Thursday The Lakers continue to include James on the injury report due to left foot injury management, though he hasn't missed a contest since Dec. 28. Over his last 10 outings, the superstar has averaged 25.6 points, 9.9 assists, 7.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 33.6 minutes per contest.

Torrey Craig

Signs deal with Boston Craig was waived earlier this week by the Bulls. The veteran forward was expected to be a hot commodity in the league as a free agent, resulting in Boston bringing him Thursday in for the rest of the season. The 33-year-old journeyman will play for his sixth NBA team once he suits up for the Celtics, which could come as early as Saturday against the Knicks in New York, according to Jared Weiss of The Athletic. He's averaging 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds, shooting 48.9 percent from the floor and a career-high 42.9 percent from beyond the arc during the 2024-25 campaign.

Aaron Gordon

Will play Thursday The Nuggets have cleared Gordon to play during the second half of their back-to-back Thursday. Over his last six games (four starts), the veteran forward has averaged 9.7 points, 4.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.8 threes in 28.3 minutes. With Jamal Murray (knee) sidelined against Orlando, Gordon could receive an increase in ball-handling duties.

Jamal Murray

Ruled out against Orlando Murray will miss Thursday's game, the second of a back-to-back for the Nuggets, as he deals with left knee inflammation. Denver will likely have to lean on Jalen Pickett and Julian Strawther to pick up the slack in the backcourt with the star guard on the mend.

Aaron Holiday

Back to bench Thursday After starting in Tuesday's loss to Brooklyn, Holiday will revert back to his usual role off Houston's bench Thursday in the return of Tari Eason (rest). Through 35 games from the Rockets' second unit this season, Holiday has averaged 4.3 points, 1.1 assists, 1.0 rebounds and 0.9 threes in 11.3 minutes.

Tari Eason

Starting Thursday The 23-year-old will supplant Aaron Holiday in the starting five after missing Tuesday's loss to the Nets due to lower left leg injury management. Over his last five outings (one start), Eason has averaged 9.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.2 three-pointers and 1.0 blocks across 27.6 minutes per contest.

KJ Martin

Not on injury report for Friday Martin is not listed on the club's initial injury report after having been traded to Utah on Thursday. However, the 24-year-old hasn't played since Dec. 23 due to a left foot stress reaction, and it wouldn't come as a surprise if he is eventually added to the injury report for Friday's contest.

Lauri Markkanen

Available for Friday After missing Wednesday's win against the Warriors, Markkanen will play Friday on the road in Phoenix. The 27-year-old forward has seen his numbers dip slightly this season with the Jazz. He averages 19.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game and shoots a career-low 42.4 percent from the floor and 35.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Cody Williams

Draws questionable tag Williams will have a chance to make his first appearance Friday since Jan. 20 due to a sprained left ankle. The rookie first-rounder would likely face limitations to his playing time if he's ultimately upgraded to available, though. Should Williams sit out against Phoenix, Brice Sensabaugh and Johnny Juzang would likely remain members of Utah's rotation.

Cody Martin

Not on injury report for Friday Martin is not listed on the club's initial injury report after having been traded to the Suns on Thursday. The 29-year-old could still be ruled out later down the line, as he was just traded and previously missed the Hornets' last seven outings due to a sports hernia. Martin appeared in 39 regular-season outings (eight starts) for the Hornets before the trade, during which he averaged 7.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 24.8 minutes per contest.

Vasilije Micic

Off injury report for Friday Micic was recently acquired by the Suns ahead of Thursday's NBA trade deadline in the deal that sent Jusuf Nurkic to the Hornets. The 30-year-old guard is trending toward making his debut Friday for Phoenix. He's averaging a career-high 7.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game to go along with 3.5 assists per contest and should provide some depth for the Suns in the backcourt moving forward.

TyTy Washington

Off injury report for Friday An illness held Washington out of action in Wednesday's loss to the Thunder, but the two-way player is set to be available off Phoenix's bench Friday. The 23-year-old is logging 7.0 minutes per game over seven appearances with the Suns this season, so his availability isn't likely to have a significant impact on the rotation.

Jordan Clarkson

Ruled out Friday Clarkson is likely sitting out Friday because the Jazz have a back-to-back through Saturday, and the team is slowly easing him back in his return from a 10-game absence due to his foot injury. With Collin Sexton (ankle) also out, expect Johnny Juzang to see a larger role until either Sexton or Clarkson return.

Bradley Beal

Questionable to play Friday Beal strung together back-to-back 25 point performances in his last two games, and he looks to keep his momentum rolling Friday against Utah if he is cleared to play. If he is unable to go, however, Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale would see extended playing time as a result. Beal's next opportunity would be Saturday versus the Nuggets.

Ryan Dunn

Probable for Friday After leaving Wednesday's loss to the Thunder with left ankle soreness, Dunn is likely to suit up for the Suns on Friday. The rookie first-rounder has averaged 3.1 rebounds, 3.0 points and 1.1 assists in 13.9 minutes over his last eight games (six starts), so he's trending down in fantasy leagues at the moment.

Kevin Durant

Questionable for Friday After missing Wednesday's blowout loss to the Thunder, Durant might miss a second straight game for the Suns as he continues nursing a sprained left ankle. If the superstar forward cannot play against Utah, Phoenix could turn to Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale to pick up the slack.

Gary Harris

Ruled out Thursday Harris will miss the second leg of the club's back-to-back set due to left hamstring injury management. His next chance to suit up will come Saturday against the Spurs. The veteran swingman appeared in each the club's last four outings after a 13-game absence, and he averaged 2.3 points in 14.5 minutes per contest in that four-game span.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Good to go Thursday After being listed as questionable, Caldwell-Pope will shake off left hamstring soreness and be available Thursday to occupy his usual role in Orlando's starting lineup. The veteran swingman has been slumping lately, however, shooting 39.5 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from deep over his last six outings. Caldwell-Pope also hasn't reached double-digit scoring figures in any of these contests.

Jalen Suggs

Ruled out Thursday Suggs will miss a sixth straight game Thursday with a left quadriceps contusion. The Magic will have to continue to lean on Cole Anthony and Anthony Black in the backcourt, with the 23-year-old guard still on the mend for Orlando.

Jimmy Butler

Trending toward debut Saturday Butler was acquired by the Warriors via trade Wednesday and is trending toward a return to game action against the club that drafted him back in 2011. The star forward appeared in 25 regular-season outings with the Heat before having been traded, during which he averaged 17.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals across 30.6 minutes per game.

Al Horford

Joins starting lineup Thursday With Jrue Holiday out with a shoulder injury Thursday, Horford will make his 26th start of the season for the Celtics. Over 25 appearances with Boston's first unit in 2024-25, Horford has averaged 9.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks in 28.6 minutes. The veteran big man is in line for a boost in fantasy appeal against Dallas.

Luka Doncic

Targeting Monday for debut Doncic has been sidelined since Christmas Day due to a left calf strain, though he is expected to make his debut with his new squad in the near future. The superstar was able to return to 5-on-5 practice with the Lakers this week, but it wouldn't come as a surprise if he operates under a minutes restriction whenever he returns. Doncic appeared in 22 regular-season outings with Dallas before he was traded, during which he averaged 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 2.0 steals across 35.7 minutes per game.

Wendell Moore

Waived by Pistons Moore is playing just 11.0 minutes per game over 20 appearances with the Pistons this year, so his departure doesn't figure to create a significant void in Detroit's rotation. The 2022 first-rounder will hope to latch onto another team elsewhere as a backcourt depth piece.

Steven Adams

Ruled out Thursday After playing 13 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Nets, Adams will miss Thursday's game in Minnesota. With the veteran big man set to miss this matchup against the Timberwolves, the Rockets will likely lean on All-Star Alperen Sengun more Thursday. Jock Landale could also see a bump in minutes.

Ousmane Dieng

Ruled out for Friday Dieng won't be available off Oklahoma City's bench Friday due to a calf injury, and he's up against a short turnaround if he wants to play on the second part of the Thunder's back-to-back Saturday in Memphis. Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams could see a slight bump in minutes against Toronto, although Dieng's absence likely won't affect the rotation very much.

Tari Eason

Off injury report Thursday Eason is expected to return to game action after missing Tuesday's loss to Brooklyn due to lower left leg injury management. Over his last five outings (one start), the 23-year-old has averaged 9.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.2 three-pointers and 1.0 blocks across 27.6 minutes per contest.

N'Faly Dante

Transferred to NBA on Thursday Dante will rejoin the Rockets ahead of their game against Minnesota on Thursday. The 23-year-old has yet to appear in an NBA game, though he is averaging 12.6 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 24.1 minutes per contest over 23 G League appearances.

Branden Carlson

Back with OKC on two-way deal With Ajay Mitchell (toe) having been converted to a standard two-year deal Thursday, the Thunder used their open two-way spot on Carlson. The big man previously signed a one-year deal with the Thunder in November of 2024 before having been waived and signed to two 10-day pacts in January. Carlson has appeared in 14 regular-season outings for Oklahoma City, averaging 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds across 6.7 minutes per game. The 25-year-old will likely see the majority of his playing time with the G League's Oklahoma City Blue.

Jack McVeigh

Recalled from G League The Rockets are a bit banged up ahead of Thursday's game against Minnesota, so they've recalled McVeigh from the G League for additional frontcourt depth. However, the 28-year-old is playing 3.5 minutes per game over six appearances with Houston this year, meaning he's unlikely to be a significant factor in the rotation for as long as he remains with the parent club.

Guerschon Yabusele

Questionable against Pistons Although the 76ers are getting healthier, Yabusele's absence would be a significant loss Friday. The veteran big man has averaged 16.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.6 threes in 31.4 minutes while shooting 41.9 percent from beyond the arc across his last eight outings (seven starts). If Yabusele sits out Friday, Justin Edwards and Eric Gordon would likely soak up additional minutes in Philadelphia's rotation.

Bojan Bogdanovic

Remaining sidelined Bogdanovic has yet to suit up this season while recovering from left foot surgery. Although the veteran forward has been cleared for on-court work, there is no indication that he will be back in action before the All-Star break.

Joel Embiid

Available against Detroit After missing 16 of the last 17 games for the 76ers, Embiid did not appear on the injury report for Philadelphia, making him available to play Friday in Detroit. In his first game back from the extended absence, the one-time NBA MVP recorded a triple-double in Tuesday's win against the Mavericks, finishing with 29 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal. This is a promising sign for the team, as the superstar big man might be back to form quicker than anticipated.

Charles Bassey

Ruled out Friday Bassey sustained a sprained left MCL injury against the Grizzlies on Monday, and is slated to miss his second consecutive contest. With Bassey out, Jeremy Sochan will see extended minutes backing up Victor Wembanyama for the time being.

Trendon Watford

Cleared from injury report After being rested on the second half of Brooklyn's back-to-back Wednesday against the Wizards, Watford is set to be available Friday. The 24-year-old is still working his way back from an extended absence with a hamstring injury, but he should still play a meaningful role from Brooklyn's bench against Miami. Over three games since returning, Watford has averaged 6.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.7 steals in 17.4 minutes.

Brook Lopez

Expected to play Friday Lopez has missed just one game this season and is expected to remain in the lineup Friday despite dealing with a knee issue. The veteran big man continues to excel at protecting the rim and spacing the floor, as he is averaging 2.2 blocks and 1.8 three-pointers made across his last 10 outings.

Malcolm Brogdon

Sitting out Friday The Wizards will hold Brogdon out Friday for right foot injury management, perhaps with an eye toward having the veteran guard available for the second leg of their back-to-back Saturday against Atlanta. Corey Kispert and Justin Champagnie stand out as the most likely candidates to see an uptick in playing time against Cleveland.

Alex Sarr

Ruled out for Friday Sarr has missed the last five games for the Wizards while nursing a sprained left ankle. With the rookie big man still on the mend, Washington could turn to Kyshawn George and Richaun Holmes to help shoulder the load in the frontcourt, especially with Jonas Valanciunas and Kyle Kuzma being traded ahead of Thursday's NBA trade deadline. Alex Len and Tristan Vukcevic may also see a bump in minutes Friday.

Damian Lillard

Expected to play against Atlanta Lillard continues to deal with a nagging groin issue but isn't expected to sit out Friday. The star guard is averaging 25.0 points, 6.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 35.5 minutes across his two appearances against Atlanta this season.

Cam Christie

Left off injury report Christie has been dealing with an ankle injury that has prompted him to miss his last six games, but is off the injury report and is slated to return Thursday against the Pacers. With the trade deadline over and players like Bogdan Bogdanovic and MarJon Beauchamp not having enough time to settle in, Christie may have a chance to crack the rotation, but this is still highly unlikely (appeared in only four games this season).

Sam Merrill

Out for personal reasons Merrill won't play Friday due to personal reasons, and his next chance to suit up for the Cavaliers arrives Monday against Minnesota. Isaac Okoro (shoulder) is also out, and it's unclear if De'Andre Hunter will be able to join the team in time for Friday's action. With Caris LeVert having been traded, Max Strus and Ty Jerome could be needed to handle heavy minutes against Washington.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Iffy for Friday Antetokounmpo is in danger of missing his second straight contest Friday due to left calf soreness. If the superstar forward is downgraded to out, Bobby Portis will likely draw another start.

Donovan Mitchell

Probable against Washington After missing Wednesday's win against the Pistons, Mitchell is trending toward getting back on the floor for the Cavaliers for the second game of a back-to-back on the road in Washington. Despite averaging a career-low 23.8 points per game, which he also averaged in his rookie season with the Jazz, the star guard has Cleveland firing on all cylinders during the 2024-25 campaign, with the team sporting a league-best record of 40-9 coming into Thursday's game against the Wizards.

Colby Jones

Headed to Washington Jones received limited playing time for Sacramento this season, averaging 1.1 points and 1.0 rebounds in 5.4 minutes across 24 appearances. In Washington, Jones should compete for depth minutes in the team's backcourt.

Isaac Okoro

Absence streak continues Okoro is out for a 12th straight game with a shoulder sprain, and he can be tentatively labeled doubtful ahead of Monday's game against Minnesota while carrying no clear timetable for a return. With Sam Merrill out for personal reasons against Washington, the Cavaliers should give Max Strus extra minutes from the starting lineup while Ty Jerome plays a more significant role from the bench.

Alex Len

Landing with Washington With the Wizards also dealing Jonas Valanciunas and Marvin Bagley ahead of Thursday's deadline, Len is set to compete with Richaun Holmes and Tristan Vukcevic for backup center minutes behind rookie Alex Sarr (ankle). Len played just 7.2 minutes per game over 36 appearances (three starts) with Sacramento this season, however, so his addition is unlikely to cause major waves in Washington's rotation.

Ajay Mitchell

Signs two-year deal with OKC Mitchell hasn't played a game for the Thunder since undergoing a procedure on his right big toe in January, but that didn't stop the team from securing his future by inking him to a two-year deal. Although he still needs a considerable amount of time before he can be cleared to play again for Oklahoma City, the move to convert him from a two-way deal to a two-year contract makes him eligible to play in the NBA playoffs, Bobby Marks of ESPN.com reports. Adding Mitchell to the playoff roster will give the squad some depth as they try to go the distance in the postseason. In 34 games this season, the 22-year-old guard is averaging 6.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

Haywood Highsmith

Probable to play Friday Highsmith has been dealing with this Achilles injury for quite a while now, but it has not hindered him from playing (only two total games missed this season, with his last absence on Oct. 30). With the recent blockbuster trade that sent Jimmy Butler to the Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, who will be taking some time to get settled in Miami, Highsmith will likely remain with the starters for the next game or two.

Kevin Love

Probable for Friday While Love is nursing a knee contusion, the problem is unlikely to hold him out of action against Brooklyn. The veteran big man has been a healthy scratch in six of Miami's last eight games, so his status is unlikely to have major ramifications on the Heat's rotation.

Jrue Holiday

Won’t play against Dallas Holiday has been downgraded from questionable to out Thursday due to a right shoulder impingement. Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser will likely receive increased playing time in his absence. Holiday's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with the Knicks.

Nikola Jovic

Likely to play Friday Although Jovic is dealing with a calf contusion, the issue is not likely to keep him out of action Friday. The 2022 first-rounder has already been playing an expanded role for the Heat, and his rest-of-season fantasy outlook was bolstered by the trade of Jimmy Butler on Wednesday. Over his last six games, Jovic has averaged 16.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.0 threes in 33.9 minutes.

Trae Young

Likely to play against Milwaukee Young continues to deal with right Achilles tendinitis but is expected to suit up for his sixth straight outing. Young has logged at least 32 appearances in each of his last five appearances, so he is unlikely to operate on a minutes restriction if he's upgraded to available.

Clint Capela

Out for personal reasons After missing five straight games due to a back injury, Capela is now being listed as out for Friday due to personal reasons. The veteran big man will aim to rejoin the team on the second leg of Atlanta's back-to-back, which comes Saturday in Washington. Onyeka Okongwu should continue delivering enhanced fantasy value from the Hawks' starting lineup, as he's averaging 15.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks in 29.1 minutes over six games where Capela has been unavailable this season.

LaMelo Ball

Questionable Friday Ball has missed the Hornets' last five games after suffering an ankle sprain in their recent loss to the Lakers. If the star guard can't play against San Antonio, the team could turn to KJ Simpson, Isaiah Wong, Seth Curry, and Nick Smith to help shoulder the load in Charlotte's backcourt.

Josh Green

Probable for Friday Green has played in all but three games this season, and he will likely suit up against the Spurs on Friday. On the season, he is averaging 7.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.2 blocks over 28.6 minutes.

Wendell Moore

Won’t play Friday Moore hasn't been in Detroit's rotation lately and played a total of four minutes combined in his last two appearances.

Malik Beasley

Likely to play Friday Beasley has yet to miss a game this season and isn't expected to do so Friday despite dealing with a left shoulder strain. If Beasley is upgraded to available, he should continue to operate as one of Detroit's primary bench options in their backcourt.

Trayce Jackson-Davis

Expected to play Thursday Jackson-Davis is expected to return to action Thursday after missing Golden State's previous contest due to right knee soreness. However, Jackson-Davis lost his starting spot to Quinten Post when he was available.

Tobias Harris

Listed probable for Friday Harris picked up this injury during Wednesday's game against Cleveland and was unable to return, but it appears he escaped with just a mild contusion. The Pistons didn't make a ton of noise at the deadline, so Harris is likely to have a similar role the rest of the way.

Cade Cunningham

Questionable for Friday This appears to be a new injury for Cunningham, but the questionable tag suggests that he's day-to-day. He was dominant in Wednesday's 118-115 loss to Cleveland, finishing with 38 points (11-29 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 13-13 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists and four steals over 38 minutes. If Cunningham is unable to play, the Pistons will need guys like Malik Beasley, Tim Hardaway and Marcus Sasser to step up. It's not clear if Dennis Schroder will make his debut for the Pistons on Friday just yet.

Jimmy Butler

Won’t debut Thursday Butler was traded from the Heat to the Warriors ahead of the trade deadline but won't be able to make his Golden State debut Thursday, as the trade is still finalizing. Butler's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Chicago.

Gui Santos

Listed questionable for Thursday Santos sat out the second half of Wednesday's loss to Utah with this injury, but he's considered day-to-day. With Jimmy Butler not available to make his Golden State debut, Pat Spencer and Jackson Rowe could pick up a few minutes if Santos can't give it a go.

Moses Moody

Iffy for Thursday Moody remains day-to-day after missing Wednesday's game versus the Jazz. His long-term fantasy outlook took a hit at the deadline, as the Warriors traded for Jimmy Butler. Butler won't be making his debut Thursday, however.

Draymond Green

Probable for Thursday In his second game since returning from a calf injury, Green logged 34 minutes against the Jazz on Wednesday with seven points, nine assists, four rebounds and two steals. His calf must've responded well, especially if the Warriors are planning on him playing the second leg of this back-to-back set.

Jaden Springer

Parting ways with Houston Springer was traded from the Celtics to the Rockets on Thursday before being subsequently waived. The 22-year-old guard will now become a free agent.

Jakob Poeltl

Another absence coming Poeltl will miss his second game in a row Friday, and it's not a great sign that he's getting ruled out a day in advance. The Raptors traded away Kelly Olynyk, so they could rely heavily on Chris Boucher and Orlando Robinson in the meantime. Poeltl's next chance to play comes Sunday against Houston.

Immanuel Quickley

Available to play Quickley missed Wednesday's game versus the Grizzlies, as it was the second leg of a back-to-back set. He's been limited to 17.8 minutes per game over his last three contests as the Raptors work him back slowly, but those restrictions will likely soften gradually.

RJ Barrett

Remaining sidelined Friday Barrett (concussion) will miss his third straight contest Friday due to being in concussion protocol. Ja'Kobe Walter will likely draw another start in his absence. Barrett's next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Houston.

Jonas Valanciunas

Available to play The Kings acquired Valanciunas from the Wizards on Wednesday and the trade has been finalized with the NBA. He'll likely operate as the backup center behind Domantas Sabonis, so it will be hard for him to produce reliable fantasy value outside of deeper formats.

Caleb Martin

Hopeful to return in 2-3 weeks Martin was shipped from the 76ers to the Mavericks ahead of the trade deadline but a physical done by Dallas revealed that the 29-year-old forward will likely be sidelined for an extended period. Martin hasn't played since Jan. 10 due to his right hip strain but it appears that Mavericks are optimistic that he can return to action following the All-Star break.

Josh Richardson

Parting ways with Utah Richardson was traded from Miami to Detroit before being re-routed to Utah ahead of the NBA trade deadline. However, the veteran guard will now become a free agent and could join a new team to add quality perimeter defense and a second playmaker.

Jalen Hood-Schifino

Waived by Utah The Jazz are also waiving Josh Richardson, but they will hold onto KJ Martin. Hood-Schifino, who made just two appearances this season due to a left hamstring injury, could draw interest on the open market for teams looking to give the No. 17 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft another chance.

Johnny Davis

Shipped to Memphis Davis has received inconsistent playing time for the Wizards this season, averaging 2.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 7.1 minutes across 34 appearances. The 22-year-old guard will likely compete for depth minutes in Memphis' backcourt but isn't expected to receive a significant role.

Chuma Okeke

Joins Philadelphia on 10-day deal Okeke spent four years with the Magic for a total of 189 appearances. He's since been playing for the Westchester Knicks in the G League. The 76ers have a number of injuries right now, so Okeke could provide the team with some emergency depth up front.

Marvin Bagley

Traded to Memphis Bagley is currently sidelined by a right knee sprain and has missed 21 straight games. He hasn't been given an official timetable, but the Grizzlies should provide some clarity once he joins his new team. Once healthy, there's no guarantee that Bagley is able to crack the rotation in Memphis.

Daniel Theis

Waived by Oklahoma City The Thunder just acquired Theis along with draft compensation on Wednesday in what was essentially a salary dump. The Thunder are comfortable with their current center rotation, however. Theis is likely to draw interest from contending teams as a free agent.

Jake LaRavia

Dealt to Sacramento The Grizzlies declined LaRavia's team option before the season -- possibly a decision they'd want to take back. In 47 appearances this season, the forward is averaging 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 20.9 minutes. The 2022 first-rounder should slot in as a backup behind both DeMar DeRozan and Keegan Murray. His role with Sacramento could be similar to that in Memphis, especially with the Kings' depth somewhat thin.

KJ Martin

Re-routed to Utah Martin was traded from the 76ers to the Pistons before being subsequently dealt to Utah. The 23-year-old forward should fit right in with the Jazz's youth movement and will likely compete for a bench role in the team's forward rotation.

James Wiseman

Shipped to Toronto Wiseman has already been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a torn Achilles, but he could be ready for the start of the 2025-26 season. It's unclear if Toronto will keep him around, as he has a $2.55 million team option for next season. Wiseman holds career averages of 9.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 18.9 minutes across 148 appearances.

MarJon Beauchamp

Traded to Clippers The writing has been on the wall for a while for Beauchamp, as the Bucks previously declined his $4.78 million team option for 2025-26. He made a total of 26 appearances for the Bucks this season with an average of 4.7 minutes per game. Unfortunately for the forward, minutes will not be easier to come by in Los Angeles.

Kevin Porter

Traded to Bucks Beauchamp wasn't part of Milwaukee's future plans, so the organization moved him for backcourt talent. Porter was playing a bench role for the Clippers and will most likely continue doing so for the Bucks. In 19.6 minutes per game, he's averaging 9.3 points on 42/25/65 shooting, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.0 steals.

Josh Richardson

Traded to Utah Richardson was initially sent from Miami to Detroit, only to be dealt to Utah less than 24 hours later. Richardson, who is still sidelined by a troublesome heel issue, is unlikely to be in Utah's long-term plans as they are in the early stages of a rebuild.

Marcus Smart

Traded to Washington Smart has struggled with injuries this season, limiting him to 19 appearances with the Grizzlies. His playing time was way down as well, as Smart averaged 21.1 minutes per contest with 8.7 points, 3.7 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals while shooting 35.8 percent from the field and 32.2 percent from beyond the arc. In Washington, Smart could have a lot more opportunity as a leader in that backcourt, but he'll be 31 in March and the Wizards are in the early stages of a rebuild. That means player development could be their focus in the final months of the season.

Reggie Jackson

Let go by Washington Jackson was traded from the 76ers to the Wizards on Thursday before being subsequently waived. The veteran point guard is now a free agent and will likely look to join a new team to provide depth in their backcourt.

Dennis Schroder

Traded to Detroit Schroder was initially sent from Golden State to Utah, but he'll eventually land with the Pistons as several teams continue to finalize the massive trade with Butler as the headliner. With Jaden Ivey (leg) out several more weeks, Schroder could see the bulk of the backup point guard minutes in Detroit behind Cade Cunningham. Those two could share the floor at times as well.

Cody Zeller

Shipped to Houston Zeller didn't report to the Hawks all season since being acquired by Atlanta as a part of the sign-and-trade deal that sent Dejounte Murray to New Orleans. The Hawks have now dumped Zeller's salary to Houston to avoid the luxury tax. The veteran big man is unlikely to receive significant playing time for the Rockets.

Jaedon LeDee

Enjoys strong night off bench LeDee made the most of his opportunities off the bench, securing his second double-double of the regular season. He's averaging only 4.1 field-goal attempts per game during the regular season but is hitting at a clip of 49.2 percent, demonstrating that he can contribute offensively when given the chance.

Jamal Murray

Iffy for Thursday Thursday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, so a maintenance day could be on the table for Murray and Aaron Gordon (calf). Murray logged 36 minutes against the Pelicans on Wednesday, finishing with 10 points (5-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six assists and two rebounds. If Murray is held out, Jalen Pickett and Julian Strawther could step into larger roles.

Aaron Gordon

Iffy for Friday Gordon is in danger of missing the second leg of Denver's back-to-back Thursday due to a right calf issue. If the 29-year-old forward is ultimately downgraded to out, Zeke Nnaji and Julian Strawther are candidates to receive increased playing time.

Dereon Seabron

Stays hot in G League Seabron posted a team-high 31 points and did so with the help of a perfect night from the charity stripe. He also led Salt Lake City in assists, his best mark since Jan. 24. Seabron continues to have a large impact in the G League, now averaging 17.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.0 steals over 16 regular-season games.

Bones Hyland

Traded to Atlanta A fresh start could be just what Hyland needs, as he was used sparingly by the Clippers. He made just 20 regular-season appearances with the Clippers, averaging 7.2 points, 1.4 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 11.1 minutes. In Atlanta, Hyland will compete for backcourt minutes off the bench with guys like Terance Mann and Vit Krejci.

Solomon Young

Collects double-double in G League Young turned in an efficient shooting line and led South Bay with 13 rebounds. This marks his first double-double of the regular season through 12 appearances. Young also contributed at the rim, where he secured a season-high three swats.

Jhonathan Dunn

Pours in 30 points off bench Dunn led his club in scoring despite being deployed off the bench. He caught fire from beyond the arc, where he scored 21 of his 30 points by burying a team-high seven treys. This marks only the second time during the regular season that Dunn has scored in double figures.

Terance Mann

Traded to Atlanta This trade could be good news for Mann's fantasy appeal, as he wasn't allotted much usage in Los Angeles. In 37 total regular-season appearances, Mann averaged just 19.8 minutes per game with 6.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.8 steals. There could be plenty of opportunity on the wing in Atlanta, making Mann a name to monitor in deeper formats.

Bogdan Bogdanovic

Traded to Clippers Bogdanovic missed Atlanta's previous six contests due to personal reasons but will presumably be available in the near future now that he has been dealt to the Clippers. The 32-year-old averaged 10.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 24.9 minutes across 24 appearances for the Hawks this season. In Los Angeles, Bogdanovic will likely compete for primary bench minutes and will hope to raise his 30.1 three-point percentage to his previous standards.

De'Andre Hunter

Dealt to Cleveland Hunter is in the midst of the best season of his career, averaging 19.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 28.8 minutes across 37 appearances for the Hawks. The 26-year-old forward has also displayed impressive efficiency this season, posting 46.1/39.3/85.8 shooting splits. While Hunter has mostly come off the bench this season, his efficient outside shooting and quality perimeter defense will likely allow him to compete for a starting spot with Max Strus.

Georges Niang

Shipped to Atlanta Niang was in the midst of a solid season for the Cavaliers, producing averages of 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 40.0 percent from beyond the arc. He could have a similar role in Atlanta, as the franchise will not have Jalen Johnson (shoulder) for the remainder of the season. The Hawks may not be done making moves, as well.

Caris LeVert

Traded to Atlanta LeVert had been in a brutal slump for Cleveland with two scoreless duds in a row. He's had a tough season overall, averaging 10.2 points, 3.7 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 0.9 steals, and his minutes were trending in the wrong direction. LeVert could benefit from a change of scenery, and there are plenty of wing minutes up for grabs on an Atlanta roster that may not be done making moves.

Anthony Davis

To debut Saturday Davis was spotted going through a workout at Thursday's shootaround, but it sounds like the Mavericks will take a cautious approach here -- Davis has been sidelined since Jan. 28 and isn't quite 100 percent. Once he gets the green light, there's a good chance the Mavericks roll with a starting frontcourt of Davis and Daniel Gafford alongside each other.

Cody Martin

Shipped to Phoenix Martin had missed Charlotte's previous seven contests due to a sports hernia before being dealt to Phoneix. The 29-year-old averaged 7.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 24.8 minutes across 39 appearances for the Hornets this season. With the Suns, Martin will likely compete for depth minutes.

Vasilije Micic

Traded to Phoenix Micic was having a fine season in Charlotte prior to this trade, appearing in 36 games with averages of 7.5 points, 3.5 assists and 2.4 rebounds. The Hornets are in the early stages of a rebuild, however, while the Suns are built to compete now. It's not a great spot for fantasy value, however, as Tyus Jones is the starting point guard and Devin Booker often plays some minutes at the point as well.

Jusuf Nurkic

Traded to Charlotte Nurkic, who fell out of Phoenix's rotation recently, now heads to a Charlotte team that just traded away Mark Williams to Los Angeles. On paper, Nurkic will be the favorite to start at center over Moussa Diabate, but Charlotte is also in the early stages of a rebuild and it remains to be seen what type of role they envision Nurkic to play. Fantasy managers may want to scoop him up in the meantime, as he can be very productive when the minutes and usage are there.

Quentin Grimes

Expected to play The trade with Dallas involving Caleb Martin is official with the NBA, making Grimes eligible to debut for the 76ers. He's likely to have a sizable role with his new team on the wings, and he was productive in Dallas with 10.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.7 three-pointers in 22.8 minutes per game.

Caleb Martin

Target date for debut unclear Martin hasn't played since Jan. 10 due to a right hip sprain but was traded from Philadelphia to Dallas in exchange for Quentin Grimes on Tuesday. While the Mavericks reportedly don't expect the 29-year-old forward to be sidelined long-term, the 76ers did add an additional second-round pick to the trade package after Martin underwent his physical. This could indicate that he will be headed for a lengthier absence than initially believed.
