We are hiring for an exceptional Senior Business Reporter based in or around London, UK.

The successful candidate must bring at least two years’ experience of B2B reporting.
In addition, they will be comfortable (and have experience of) filleting complex financial and legal filings; writing speedy online news; covering company earnings calls; and skilfully analysing business trends and data. They won’t be scared of graphs!
Furthermore, they will be adept at sniffing out scoops while simultaneously covering PR/announcement-led B2B stories, under the guidance of MBW’s seasoned editorial team.
The role
The Senior Business Reporter will be expected to:
- Write multiple daily news stories from PR/company announcements, cutting out the fluff and adding illuminating context;
- Write longer-form articles, highlighting key quotes/data from company earnings, lawsuit filings, and financial presentations – with contextual analysis;
- Conduct Q&A interviews with industry players, often for our commercially-related amplified media business;
- Deputize on (i) the creation and sending of MBW newsletters and MBW news alerts and (ii) the creation and sending of the weekly MBW round-up email.
Key details
Salary: £40-45k p.a. with generous benefits including:

Hours: 40 per week over 5 days
Contract type: Full-time role
Location: Mix of WFH (3-4 days per week) and Central London office (1-2 days per week)
