Government of Canada Invests in Agri-Food Innovation and Growth The Government of Canada is strengthening the country’s agri-food sector by investing in innovation, sustainability, and business expansion. The Honourable Ruby Sahota, Minister of Democratic Institutions and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), announced over $12 million in funding to support agri-food entrepreneurs and businesses. Oasthouse Ventures Limited to Invest $104.8M in Virginia Greenhouse Project Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced that Oasthouse Ventures Ltd., a leading UK-based sustainable business development firm specializing in low-carbon greenhouses, will establish its first U.S. controlled environment agriculture (CEA) facility in Carroll County, Virginia.
