About us
The Massachusetts Technical Assistance Center for Problem Gambling Treatment (M-TAC) provides free capacity building and technical assistance services for treatment and recovery programs and providers across the Commonwealth. Guided by public health principles, built on data and evidence, and focused on equity, M-TAC understands the intersection of problem gambling and co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. M-TAC administers the MA Problem Gambling Specialist Certificate, the official problem gambling treatment certificate of the MA Department of Public Health. We offer clinicians and allied health professionals free trainings, free on-demand courses, access to a community with discussion about gambling disorder, and other resources.
